CENTERMED is a training organization in the field of rescue, registered under the ministerial approval number "n° INFS-2019-OF-001".
This training is in accordance with the new requirements of the Grand Ducal regulation of 13/07/18.
Objective:
The development of the knowledge necessary for the practical use of basic first aid techniques in case of emergency.
Participants learn to
- act in an organized manner at the scene of the accident
- make a structured call to the emergency services centre 112
- recognise medical emergencies
- practice first aid techniques
- stop life-threatening bleeding
- the lateral safety positioning

Content:
- wound care
- burns and wound dressings
- bleeding and fractures
- breathing and cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- unconsciousness and lateral safety positioning
- heart, early defibrillation, pediatric resuscitation
- taking the right initial steps at the scene of the accident
- motorcycle helmet removal and lateral safety positioning
Requirements:
- willingness to participate
- minimum age of 12 years
Duration:
- 16 hours
Successful completion of the "First Aid" course is validated by a continuous knowledge control by the instructor
and the participant will receive a diploma that will be valid for 5 years.
